Kingsville is a community built on entrepreneurial spirit. From its rugged beginning, Kingsville has been a community that has been targeted by visionaries for its potential.
The City of Kingsville is committed to honoring that spirit in its approach to economic development.
Kingsville utilizes a number of incentives and grants to encourage local investment all while welcoming outside investment to our growing community. A pro-business mindset and creative approach makes Kingsville an ideal location.
Kingsville’s economic stability is a driving force in its potential:
- Kingsville’s population is approximately 25,000
- Kingsville’s retail trade area includes nearly 50,000 people
- Texas A&M University Kingsville student population is approximately 7,000
- Naval Air Station Kingsville employes approximately 1,500.
- Approximately 30,000 people visit the King Ranch each year.
1PointFive’s exciting South Texas Direct Air Capture Hub is an exciting development. That multibillion project will create thousands of construction jobs and hundreds of permanent, full time positions.
Kingsville’s location roughly 40 miles to the deepwater Port of Corpus Christi, access to I-69, rail and the halfway point between the Rio Grande Valley and San Antonio make it a prime area for new development.
